The Apostles' Creed: Suffered Under Pontius Pilate

Looking at the facts of Jesus’ suffering under Pontius Pilate, death and burial it is perplexing and horrific. However, when we look under the facts in what is actually occurring it is beautiful, because the death of Jesus Christ reconciles us to God and creates a covenant community of faith that is both universal and local.
